A pie in the face!

Grant Taylor, LPN of Countryview Care Center of Macomb gets a pie in the face from resident Lana Mathis. The staff and residents had been voting all week during National Nursing Home week as to who the lucky recipient would be and Taylor was one of the lucky 3 to get a pie in the face. Fun activities were conducted each day at the facility during Nursing Home week.

 

 

 

 

 

Mayor Inman

Newly elected Mayor Mike Inman proclaimed National Nursing Home Week at Coutnryview Care Center of Macomb last week. This was the Mayors first Proclamation for Nursing Home week as mayor. He visited with each of the residents and staff. He said he holds nursing homes in high regards as his Mother spent several years at a wonderful facility and was cared for very well. Mayor Inman plans to stay active with Coutnryview Care Center.

 

 

 

 

 

Project Hope

Countryview Care Center of Macomb held a food drive for Project H.O.P.E. nursing last weeks National Nursing Home Week Celebration. Countryview Care Center a member of the Petersen Health Care Family is a supporter of the McDonough County VIBE. “We thought it only made sense to do a little something special for one of the charities chosen by VIBE this year so we had a canned good drive and did very well”, said Kassie Courson Community Relations Coordinator. “Lots of food came in and we also raised money as well to help with Project H.O.P.E.’s monthly meal” Courson said.
