The third annual Little Theatre Mardi Gras celebration kicks off Feb. 26th at 6p.m. at the Knight Building at Mason Point just East of sullivan on Route 121.

There will be the music of New Orleans with a live band, full cash bar and food. The event serves as a fundraiser for Little Theatre.

Only 225 tickets will be sold this year. Tickets go on sale Jan 10 and can be purchased by contacting the box office at 728-7375.

Married Alive is a new musical comedy that charts wedded bliss (and blisters) from the perspectives of wide-eyed newlyweds and jaded oldyweds.  If you liked I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, you’ll love Married Alive!

Song titles include “Stupid in Love,” “It Starts with Socks,” “Oh Knocked Up,” “Alaways Right, Always Wrong,” “The Lucky One” and “Oh We Owe Money,” among others.

The show runs from Feb 11th – Feb 20th.

Summer Theatre for Young Audiences shows have been unannounced U:Bug:Me – A Bug’s Life – June 3, 4, 7, 9-11. Rescuing Rapunzel – July 1, 2, 5, 7-9. Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day – July 29, 30th, Aug 2, 4-6, 9, 11-13.

We are very excited to mix things up with three completely new shows that you and your family love,” said John Stephens, director, Little Theatre. “U:Bug:Me has been sweeping the nation as a new rock n roll musical written just for kids, Rescuing Rapunzel is written by our very own Janie Wallace and Joshua Zecher-Ross and follows the long haired Rapuzel in a wild west adventure of her own and Alexander is based off of the classic children’s book of the same name.”
