Gilligans Island Sheldon Health Care Center

A Gilligan’s Island reunion was hosted at the Sheldon Health Care Center recently as the Dining Room was transformed into the small deserted island where the SS Minnow was shipwrecked. The residents enjoyed seeing each of the passengers portrayed by staff members. They played Gilligan’s Island Trivia, Guessed number of Goldfish and Lifesavers in the jars, listened to the Gilligan’s Island theme song and enjoyed a variety of fruit as well as Mary Anne’s famous Coconut Crème pies!

Polo Rehabilitation & Health Care

The Polo Rehabilitation & Health Care community came out for the annual community coffee and Polo Rehab also held a valentines day bake sale and also crowned the king & queen of valentines day. King was Ronald Greenawalt and queen was Ruth Miller both were very excited!

Today Piper City Rehab & Living Center crowned our King & Queen Valentine for 2013.  Pictured from left is Queen Irene Johnson and King Bill Yeakel.  A celebration was in order along with the crowning ceremony.  Residents and Staff indulged themselves with Rich Chocolate Cake.  Sweets for our Sweets!

Piper City Rehab says farewell to Kathy Night

Piper City Rehab says Farewell to Kathy Knight.  She is retiring after 17 years of hard work and dedication.  Kathy was a jack of all trades, she worked as a dietary aid, dietary mgr, groomer, activity director, housekeeper, and then became our housekeeping supervisor.  Kathy lives in the country of Piper City with her husband Rick and has 4 daughters.  Thank you Kathy for all your years of service and Best Wishes for your future.
