Father's Day Breakfast!

Piper City Rehab and Living Center:

Friday June 17th, Piper City Rehab & Living Center hosted a Father’s Day Breakfast of Biscuits & Gravy, Cheesy Scrambled Eggs, Ham, Fresh Fruit Salad, & Homemade Cinnamon Rolls.  With over 25 in attendance, it was a success. These are just a few of the visitors that shared great memories of their Fathers’ and how much they mean to everyone.  It was a heartfelt & interesting morning!  Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s!

 

 

 

 

 

1st Annual Car Show

Shelbyville Rehab and Health Care:

On Saturday June 18th Shelbyville Rehab and Health Care Center, hosted it’s first annual “Father’s Day Car Show”.  The weather held out and a great time was had by residents, staff and visitors.  DJ Jamie Smith, came and spun some tunes from the 50’s & 60’s.  The Sunset Grill came and set up their trucks.  They sold a variety of foods such as deep fried cheeseburgers, fried oreos, fried pickles, etc.  Certificates and gas cards were given as prizes for the oldest vehicle, the farthest traveled for the event (won by Berneil and Ellen Burns of Macon, for their 1958 Ford Fairlane 500) and for Shelbyville Rehab & Health Care Center Choice (won by John Russell of Shelbyville, for his 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass).
