Petersen Health Care announced that Orchard View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, one of Petersen Health Care communities located in Princeton IL, has earned the Five-Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), which signifies a “much above average” rating.
Five stars is the highest and most respected rating a nursing home can receive, and is based on health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
“One of the big reasons for our success is the fact our management team is locally based,” said Kathryn Langan, Administrator, Orchard View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. “We are a part of this community and many staff members have had relativesthat are and were residents here. We really are a family at Orchard View and that’s exactly how we care for all our residents.”
CMS developed the Five-Star Quality Rating System to assist consumers, their families and caregivers in finding and comparing nursing homes more easily and to help identify areas to ask questions.
