Monmouth, IL- On October 30, 2015 Legacy Estates of Monmouth, a Supportive Living Community, held their 2nd Annual Trick or Treating event for kids 5th grade and under. This is always a free community event. In the dining room, the Legacy Estates staff set up snacks & games for families to enjoy in addition to the 50 tenants that participated in the trick or treating with candy provided by Legacy Estates. This year, 209 children participated and the tenants loved every second of it.

“It gives us a great sense of pride to be able to provide a warm and safe environment for the kids to visit. And watching our tenants enjoy an event like this makes it all worthwhile. They love seeing all the kids in their costumes,” stated Brandi Adams, Director/LPN. “We are very fortunate to have a community, family members, tenants and staff that are willing to donate candy and treats every year for this event. We will most definitely be continuing our Halloween party in the years to come!”

The staff of Legacy Estates would like to sincerely thank all of the businesses and friends that donated candy. Also, thank you to the families that participated, we can’t wait to see you again next Halloween!
