5/4/12- My stay was great!  I got what I needed.  Therapy was very helpful.  The staff treated me well and I loved them all.  I got better treatment at Casey Health Care then at home.  My only complaint is the food could have been better at times, but even the food was good a lot of the time.  I appreciate it all and don’t know how I can repay you all.  If I ever need a skilled nursing facility, I would come back to Casey Health Care.

Tuesday Spet. 6, 2011-Dean’s heart stopped at 5:00pm at Casey Health Care.  I ran for a nurse.  Lisa Seaton, Director of Nursing, performed CPR and brought Dean back.

In January 2006, I was advised by mom’s physician that I should start making plans for her admission to a Long Term Care facility. The dementia that she was diagnosed with in 1994 had progressed to the point that mom now needed 24 hour care. Five years later, I can say that I have no REGRETS.

The entire staff at Casey Healthe Care have been Wonderful!!  Since I am still working full-time , it is difficult for me to visit mom more than 1-2 time per week.  I take comfort in knowing that the staff will notify me with any concerns, or changes in her physical well-being.  Thanks to CHCC, I am able to work, enjoy my children and grandchildren and go about my daily activities knowing that mom is being cared for.

I attended the Mother’s Day Brunch at Casey Health Care Center.  The residents were gathered at tables throughout the room.  When the young girls began to dance and music started to play, the residents were showing signs of delight and enjoyment.  I loved looking at all their faces which were expressing their emotions so openly. Some were clapping and moving their bodies in response to the dancing and music.  An enjoyable time was had by all residents and visitor’s.
